Young Somali girls attended fire safety program at Springfield Fire station on Wilbraham Road Springfield Massachusetts.
Youth Development Programs for Somali, Sudanese and Congolese boys in Springfield Massachusetts.
Somali Bantu Community of Springfield Inc Leaders attended community relationship with PVP and Springfield Police Department.
Celebration and gathering of the end of Ramadan, EID AL FITR of 2020. Members of Somali Bantu Community and their kids come out in Forest Park to enjoy food, Music and Fun.

At this meeting with Tara Parish, executive director of Pioneer Valley Project, we discussed key issues concerning our community in Western Massachusetts and how we can improve our work and the success of our people in greater Springfield areas.

Our work began in 2007.

We are currenlty hiring for per diem and part time positions to provide education, training and support to women and girls in Springfield and areas in Western Massachusetts.

We are nonprofit organization:

Somali Bantu Community of Springfield is committed to the effective integration of refugees and immigrants through the provision of social, ecnomic, educational, case management, environmental health, domestic voilence prevention and cultural program opportunities to self-sufficiency. We provide these services and information to refugees and immigrants in Western Massachusetts. Our goal is to help and support every refugee to increase his or her ability to advocate on their behalf and to participate beneficially in the larger communities in Springfield and in Western Massachusetts.
Youth Development Programs:
Provided by Programs Coordinators Derow Abdullahi and Hussein Robow.
Cultural Orientation:
Provided by Administrative Assistant Ibrahim Issack and Omar Haji.
Honoring Aden Barow:
Aden Barow worked very hard for the past 15 years, as volunteer staff member to raise money to pay for Funeral Services for our members and clients.

Some of our members and clients attended training of health safety and Hygiene education.
